Overview

Holistic medicine has always been close to me, and alongside drawing, painting and creative work, natural medicine and phytotherapy are other mainstays of my life. Life has brought me to Spain for 6 years to become an expert and consultant in CBD (one of the main active ingredients of industrial hemp is a phytocannabinoid), so I have already attracted this request.

This was my first complex job with a case, so everything from idea to execution was my responsibility. The first step was the logo and the packaging, which I presented to the client in the form of a brand book. The name Pure Gold Hemp is backed by Pure Gold Organic, a vitamin and nutritional supplement manufacturer and distributor with decades of history, so the gold color was a given from their original logo. Thinking this through further, a material CBD oil drop was added to the logo.

For the packaging, following the current design trends, I chose matte colours with the word PURE GOLD embossed in gold on a dark grey background and a gold circle framing the icons. The gold and black colour combination have long been a trademark of premium products, so I was happy to use it for a Swiss, high-quality product. Different concentrations are marked with a separate colour and flavoured and sports oils have distinctive graphic elements. The web design is also dominated by the packaging colours of gold, dark grey and hemp green.
